VCU Smash Ultimate Ruleset Stage Bans: Both players may agree to play on a stage or play rock paper scissors to decide who bans first. The winner bans the first stage, the loser bans two stages, and then the winner chooses from the remaining stages. After game one the winner bans three stages and the loser chooses from the remaining stages including couterpicks. No DSR: A player may choose a stage that they have won on previously in the set if it has not been banned by the other player.
