Double Elimination Style Tournament
- Double Elimination tournament definition: A double-elimination tournament is a type of elimination tournament competition in which a participant ceases to be eligible to win the tournament's championship upon having lost two games or matches.
- Best 2 out of 3 wins match for sets at the beginning of the tournament.
- Best 3 out of 5 wins match for Top 8 matches
- Sudden-Death matches DO NOT COUNT. Win will go to the player with the lowest percentage of damage. If tied, will be played as 1v1 1-stock match with 7 minutes until a winner is determined.
- Registration Deadline: Thursdays @ 8:15pm EST
- Start Time: Thursdays @ 8:30pm EST
- (Once your match is called to start, you will be given 5 minutes to appear at the designated online station (10 minutes for the first round). Failure to be present during that time will result in an auto-disqualification for that particular match - we will be VERY STRICT on this policy and punctuality. Please arrive on time.)
- It is up to the competitor to familiarize themselves with how to use Smash.gg. Anyone that is DQ'ed due to a failure of navigating Smash.gg and not reporting to their match will remain DQ'ed. The bracket cannot be held up for something completely out of the TOs control.
