Event Rules

Street Fighter 6
  • Platforms: PS5 + Xbox Series - All matches will be on 120hz monitors
  • Game settings: 2 out of 3 rounds per game, 99 second time limit, Modern or Classic controls allowed, commentary OFF, Input Delay Reduction ON, Motion Blur OFF
  • Game sets will be best of 3, and best of 5 for Top 8
  • Winner must keep character
  • Losing player may switch character
  • Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage)
  • Players may choose to use Button Release Input ON or OFF
  • In the event of a tied match declared by a “Double K.O.”, the match will not be scored. Both players will replay the tied match with the same character selections and stage
  • All-button (aka leverless/hitbox) controllers must be set to Up+Down=Neutral and Left+Right=Neutral. This may be checked at random based on TO discretion or the request of an opposing player

Tournament Rules

General
  • All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified
  • You must provide your own controller for games played on all systems
  • All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are allowed
  • Hardware programmable input entry, rapid-fire, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are strictly forbidden
  • Accidentally pausing the game at any time during the fight will force you to forfeit the round, except in the case of imminent death
  • Any player using “Random Select” to pick their character must “Random Select” again if they win the match
  • Brook Converters are allowed
  • Cronus and Titan converters are banned.
  • Wireless third party controllers are banned (EXCEPTION: Controllers which pair to a USB dongle are permitted)
  • Players are responsible for making sure all controllers are unpaired from the console BEFORE their match begins.
  • There is no coaching during any tournament match in Top 8
  • There is a maximum of 60 seconds allowed between matches in a set
  • Match fixing, pot splitting, or other collusion is not allowed. If discovered, both players will be disqualified from this and potentially future events
  • Any tournament players that are not present when their match is called will have a period of 10 minutes to report to their station with the required equipment. After the 10 minute period has expired, you will be forced to forfeit your match. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy
