Set Procedure Game 1:

Both players state which amiibo they will be using. The lower seeded player (one on the right) strikes one starter stage, then the other strikes two more. The first player then picks a stage from the remaining 2 starters.

Game 2 onwards:

The winner states which amiibo they will be using, then the loser states which amiibo they will be using. Then the winner strikes 4 stages from the full stagelist and the loser picks a stage from the remaining 8.
