Teams / players must be participants on their official Highschool team, meaning if that school has a varsity program, esports club, etc. Highschools may have more than one team register as long as all players are on one of the official Smash teams. In the absence of an organized method, then the school should hold a tournament or go based off their local PR, whatever can be agreed on. If a method can't be decided on, we can help determine a fair method for determining a school's team.
Requirements
All players on your team must be currently enrolled full-time students at the same Highschool. Crews are made up of 4 players. You may have a 5th or 6th sub in as long as the subs also are students.
Ruleset
4v4 format - first player from each team blind picks character and starts with 3 stocks. Losing team brings in next player, winning player stays with same number of stocks they had left from 1st match. Winning player bans 3 stages and keeps same character, losing player picks stage and choses character. Repeat until a team is out of players and they lose that round. Players can not use a character previously used by a teammate.
Bracket
Best of 1 for all matches. All teams will play each other during the round robin stage. Top 4 will be seeded into single elimination bracket. If the number of teams warrants it, we may split into multiple pools for the round robin stage and seed the top 8 for the single elimination bracket. Finals will be played on main stage.
