Tournament Rules

We strongly encourage the use of ethernet cables to ensure stable connections between every player. If necessary, both players can agree to increase input delay to 3f (recommended for connections above 120 ping). Please be patient with your opponents because this is doubles, so the connection is more likely to be unstable with four different locations.

Please use smash.gg’s automated system to determine character picks and map bans.

There will be a 10 minute timer before the system automatically DQs you from your match if you fail to check in. DQs as a result of this timer are final, however if you believe you were DQ’d at the fault of the system please contact a TO immediately.

In the case of connection disputes, we will be using the Speed Test dispute procedure listed by the Untitled tournament series. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1z6wSu-T1nCh_U6hQSkHnIX_pQDZ674x-EiMuQj9GX-o/edit)

REQUIREMENTS All players must use a Vanilla Melee ISO (Reskinned textures are fine). UnclePunch, 20XX and Frozen Stadium ISOs cause mass desync issues. Please remember that smurfing makes the event tough to run on behalf of the TOs and fellow competitors.

If you will be sandbagging or using secondaries with an alternate account, please contact the TOs beforehand so you are seeded appropriately.

RULESET Wobbling, Freezing, and Infinite Stalling are banned. The LGL will also be enforced (60 ledge grabs only going to effect if the game times out). Excessive stalling (i.e. Luigi Ladder) will be penalized at the discretion of the TOs.

Double elimination format with BO3 sets leading to Top 4, where sets will be BO5
