General Event Rules
- This is a BYOA and BYOC event (Bring your own adapter and controller). The individuals running this event are not responsible for your own equipment to play any games.
- 5-10 minutes will be allowed after each set is called for opponents to arrive and begin their game. After this time has elapsed, anyone not present may be subject to disqualification from that set.
- Please note that photographs and videos may be taken at the event and posted on social media and other parts of the internet. Please inform any member of the Tournament Organisers or Admin of the event if you do not photographed or have video recordings of yourself prior to the event.
- Please bring your own headphones, audio splitters or small speakers if you want to use game sound at the event. While some monitors will play sound without extra equipment, others may be restricted to headphones or speakers. We have a limited amount of splitters and speakers available for use at the event and will be assigned to specific setups.
- While COVID-19 restrictions are relaxed and not enforced, we would appreciate anyone wearing a mask, however this is not mandatory. If you do test positive for COVID-19 48 hours before the event is due to start, we ask that you do not attend this event and that you please contact an Admin or Tournament Organiser.
- Please be respectful and considerate of anyone inside and outside the event as well as all equipment and the venue itself. Displays of verbal or physical aggression are not tolerated and will result in a warning and a possible ban from all future Smash Wales events.
- All players aged 14 years old or younger MUST accurately fill and declare full details via this Consent Form AND a parent or guardian MUST be present and attend the event with them. Failure to do so will result in the refusal of entry to the event on the day without refund. Please click anywhere on this text to access the link to the Consent Form.
- All players aged 15 to 18 MUST accurately fill and declare full details via the Consent Form also, however this DOES NOT require a parent or guardian to attend the event and can be emailed directly to an Administrator or Tournament Organiser of this event and a copy of the form MUST be brought to the event on the day. Failure to do so will result in the refusal of entry to the event on the day without refund. Please click anywhere on this text to access the link to the Consent Form.
- We are all here for a good time and hope that everyone can enjoy each others' company!
