Broadcasting with Slippi: Slippi is the software used to run Online Melee tournaments. You have to have Slippi Launcher installed to be able to broadcast your match. If you're asked to play on stream: https://slippi.gg/downloads under "Desktop App (Slippi Launcher)".

Starter stage: -Battlefield -Dreamland 64 -Fountain of Dreams -Pokémon Stadium (Frozen) -Yoshi's Story

Counter-pick stages: -Final Destination

Connection Mode: -Players will connect directly using their connect code (e.g. SMF#856)

Connection Issues: -In case of connection issues between the two players, the organizer will provide an admin who will try to connect with both people to check whose connection is the worst. -Do not hesitate to ping the tournament organizer for any upcoming issues, he'll gladly help you!

Pausing: -If a player pauses (even unintentionally), he has to SD his current stock.

General Rules: -Best of 5 -You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless ur opponent agrees to it. Wobbling and ICs Freezing Glitch are banned.

Player Location: -Players must be located in Europe in order to participate in these events. -Please do not try to use a VPN or the tournament organization will take action against you. -Individuals found entering from outside of Europe will be banned from all future EURAT events.

Match Procedure: -Both players check in on SMASH.gg -Both players share their Code/ID with their opponent. -Players can communicate through SMASH.GG or the tournament Discord

Time Out Rules: -In the event of a time out, the player with the most stocks wins. -If stocks are tied, the player with the least damage at time of completion wins (not total). -If damage is tied, players play a 1 stock, 3 minutes game on the stage the tie happened on. -If the game ends in a tie without it going to a time out the players will play a 1 stock game on the same stage

Punctuality Rulings: -If a player is absent (not contactable or unresponsive) for 5 minutes after check in, he will lose Game 1 And will lose an additional game for every 5 minutes until they respond -A responsive player may be granted more time to start their next game if approved by the tournament organizer

Connection Rulings_ -If a disconnection happen in the middle of a game, the stock count should be recreated as it was at the time of the disconnection -If the disconnection was caused by one player in particular, that player will start the recreated game with one less stock -If a player causes a disconnection on their last stock, they lose that game -If a player disconnects from a game manually at any point, they lose that game -If a player finds a connection to be unplayable, please contact the tournament organizer -A 5 minute grace period to resolve a connection issue may be granted by the tournament organizer before a DQ takes effect

Sportsmanship Rulings: Any actions deemed inappropriate may be subject to penalties at the discretion of the tournament organizer. This may include: -Profanity -Hate Speech -Disruptive Behavior -Insults -Harassment -Discrimination -Match Fixing
