Melee Singles

Wobbling is banned. Wobbling is defined as the secondary Ice Climber connecting with more than three attacks during a player-controlled grab without breaking the grab. Multi-hit moves like Blizzard count as one attack.

In the event of a timeout, a 45 ledge grab limit is in place.

bambi’s Honor Clause (BHC): if two Sheik players agree before a set not to chaingrab, they must honor it, unless both players verbally agree to reallow it. Intentional breaking of the gentleman’s agreement can result in a game loss at TO discretion.

WallyzGrimiest Clause: If a competitor enters the bracket under the pretense that they are sandbagging, they must continue to sandbag over the course of the tournament, or risk disqualification, a stern scolding, or other consequences at the TO's discretion. Sandbagging includes, but is not limited to, exclusively playing characters one is not known to main, or otherwise arbitrarily limiting one's own ability to compete by some means.
