Set Procedure
- Players select their characters. If needed, ask a third party for a double blind pick.
- Players play a best of 1 Rock-Paper-Scissors game. The winner chooses if they want to stage strike first or second.
- Players take turns striking stages from the stage list. The first player removes 1 stage from the list, the second player removes 2, the first player then chooses from the remaining stages. (We call this 1-2-1 order for short)
- The players play the first game of the set.
- The winner of the game bans three stages from the stage list.
- The player who lost the game picks the stage from the remaining stages for the next game.
- The winning player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
- The losing player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
- The next match is played.
Repeat steps 5 through 9 for all subsequent matches until the set is complete.
Battlefield and Omega variations of the stages are allowed when a player counterpicks either Battlefield or Final Destination respectively. If a player does not agree to play on a variant stage, the original stage must be selected (unless the player selecting the stage has reason such as eyesight, health, etc.). However, the following stages are not allowed to be selected in Battlefield and Omega forms. This list is subject to change.
