Counterpicks: Town & City Yoshi's Story

BRACKET MATCH FORMULA: Game 1: Higher Seed Strikes 1st out of the Starter Stage List that he or she does NOT want to play on Lower Seed Strikes 2 Stages that remain in the Stage List that he or she does NOT want to play on Higher Seed will decide which stage to play on first out of the 2 stages that remain on the list

Game 2: Winning Player will BAN 2 Stages from the Counterpick Stage List that he or she does NOT want to play on Losing Player will pick the next stage to play on

IF Game 3 (or 4/5) Repeat Steps of Game 2 - DSR IS ACTIVE : You may NOT Return to the LAST Stage that you won on in the current set HOSTING ROOMS: DO NOT Make the Password "1" , this will allow the public to find and join your room causing delays IN AN EVENT OF A DISCONECTION:

  • If the player disconnects during the set, the opposite player will get a winning game. This is to prevent Lag Switchers (Those who purposely induce lag to win the game) to fail.
  • IF the Player disconnects a second time, the set goes to the opposite player and the disconnected player shall be moved to the Loser's Bracket to give time to fix connection issues and more.
  • IF the player disconnects a 3rd time in Loser's Bracket, the player will be DQ'd from the tournament.

^ ALL of this is to prevent stalling, and cheating during the event.

Tournament Rules

Day 1:

  • Doubles - 10:00am EST
  • Singles Pools - 2:00PM EST
  • Intermission - 5:00PM EST
  • Day 1 Ends - 8:00PM EST (max/ projected)

Day 2:

  • Singles Top 32 Bracket: 11AM EST until Top 8

  • Intermission 1:30PM EST

  • Top 8: 3PM EST

  • Ceremony/ Closing - 6PM EST

  • Must be in the "SGK Tamer Chat" Discord to be competing

  • Must be subscribed to SuperGirlKels on Youtube to be competing

  • Must be Following SuperGirlKels on Twitter to be competing

  • Must be Following SuperGirlKels on Discord to be competing ^ This is a COMMUNITY event for subscribers, followers of SuperGirlKels ONLY

  • Please Check in 15minutes Before your Pool / Playtime on Smash.gg and on the Discord Pool chat that you are assigned to. 10minutes after your name is called, you WILL be moved to the Loser's Bracket 10 Minutes after your match is called in losers you WILL be disqualified

  • Pools for Singles, and Doubles Bracket will be Available 6 days before the event takes place. Please analyze them and email kelsymedeiros@icloud.com for any changes to be made.
