Event Rules
Some important notes about the rounds!
- You need to check in to the event, prior to the first game. Check in will last up to one hour before the event. If you don't check in you will NOT be entered into the event.
- You need to check in to every round, using Smash.gg's event page. If you fail to do this you put yourself at risk of being automatically ejected.
- You will be expected to report your games and use proper tournament procedure on Smash.gg. Not doing this will come with risks including but not limited to wrongly processed games or a presumption you have dropped from the event.
- Reporting your games is BOTH players responsibility. If you do your half of reporting it's still important for the other player to do theirs. The reporting needs to be done inside the 25 minutes of the round timer.
Match Rules
Set Procedure
- Both players will select their characters at the same time.
- P1 will select the first stage (P1 will be determined by Smash.gg and can be found at that week's event page at smash.gg/lsl1)
- The first game of the set will be played.
- Winning player of the preceding game bans 2 stages. The losing player of the preceding game picks a stage for the next game, adhering to Stage Clause (see 2.3.3) and bans.
- The winning player of the preceding game will remain as the same character however the losing player may opt to change their character for the next game.
- The next game is played.
- Repeat Steps 4 through 7 for all subsequent games until the set is complete.

- Handicap: Off
- Hazards: Off
- Damage Ratio: 1.0x
- Items: Off and None
- Pause: Off
- Mii Fighters: Legal with any moveset

Counterpick Stages
- Kalos Pokemon League
- Skyloft
- Yoshi's Island

Stage Clause
A player/team may not pick the last stage they previously won on during the set.
Behaviour
Whilst this is a competitive event we expect participants to act in a respectable manner whilst participating.
Any player who is found to be acting in a toxic manner towards opponents will be removed from the tournament.
It is also expected that participants show up to their games on time.
- If a participant is found to be 10 minutes late to their match they will be given a game loss.
- If a participant is found to be 20 minutes late to their match they will be given a match loss.
Disputes
If you believe you have a dispute and can’t figure it out with your opponent please contact a member of staff.

This rule set was adapted from the Genesis 6 rules however it is not a copy of the ruleset. Players should not use the Genesis 6 rules as a guideline.

Map List Adjustments
Please note that map list listed on Smash.GG may differ from the map list located on the Second Stock homepage, participants should always make sure to use the map list listed on the homepage as it will show the correct set of maps.
We encourage that participants use the CHAT function when sorting the picks and bans on maps, this will help us quickly sort out any issues by allowing us to see what has happened up until the point where the issue occured.
