General Tournament Rules

Interfacing with Smash.gg: If you are having trouble navigating Smash.gg or checking in for your match you must let an admin know BEFORE the DQ timer has expired. We are willing to help people get started and figure things out but waiting until after the DQ timer has expired is unfair to your opponent who was ready to play.

Lag Tests: Lag tests will be performed differently from now on. Instead of inviting each player to a lobby that I created and judging the lag myself, both players will be required to send a timestamped picture of their Switch lan adapter connected to their dock, failure to do so in a timely manner will result in immediate disqualification. If both players successfully complete the first task they will then be required to test their connection to the Xiber server on the speedtest.net Windows store app and submit their results. If both player’s ping and jitter are within reasonable standards a traditional lag test will be performed where each player individually joins my lobby and tests their connection to me.
