    DSR (Last-Won Variant) – A player, when counterpicking, may not pick the most recent stage they won on during the set.

  • You may only "Stage Agreement Clause" to legal stages within the ruleset's stage list before Stage Striking/Banning commences.
  • Once Stage Striking/Banning commences, the stages presented in the above list are the set stages.

Remember,

  • ALWAYS for Game 1: Characters are stated first before commencing Starter Stage Striking/Gentlemen using the "Stage Agreement Clause." (EVEN for a "Double Blind Character Selection")
  • Any further Games played after Game 1 will be the OPPOSITE –> Game 2+: Stage Banning/Gentlemen using the "Stage Agreement Clause," then Selecting Characters.

For Squad Strike: "From the following list of Echo Fighter pairs, each Player may select only one character from each pair per Game.": Peach / Daisy, Samus / Dark Samus, Simon / Richter

Match Rules

How to use "Automated Tasks Reporting for Online Smash.gg Matches."

  2. Additionally, please view Smash.gg's Support Article "Playing online tournaments on Smash.gg" https://help.smash.gg/en/articles/1465698-playing-online-tournaments-on-smash-gg
  3. Once you have used your Smash.gg Account to Pre-Register for the event, you will be able to view the "Smash Ultimate Singles" event once the bracket is published.
  4. While viewing the Event Overview page, direct yourself to the "Bracket."
  5. Now, locate your Match within the Bracket & click on your match to view it.
  6. Use the "Tasks" & "Chat" tabs to complete your matchmaking procedures.
  7. Follow the "Tasks" Step-by-step for Checking-In, Determining the Arena Host, Character Selection, Stage Striking/Banning, etc. until a Winner has been determined.
  8. Use the "Chat" Tab to communicate with your opponent to share Arena ID's & Passwords, etc. Or, to clear up any misclicks while in the Tasks.
  9. If there is any dispute, please communicate with "UP | CON" on the Discord.

Tournament Rules

- REPORT YOUR MATCHES! As soon as a match ends, don't forget to fill the results quickly on Smash.gg, to keep the tourney moving fast!!

- No Cheating

- At any time when a game is not being played, you may request "UP | CON" to test the lag on a connection within an arena lobby. If it is determined that the connection is unplayable, the individual severely lagging will be DQ'd.

- IF YOU START A GAME WITHOUT CHECKING LAG YOU MUST PLAY IT OUT. You CANNOT void a game that was started even if it was lagging.

- EXCESSIVE Lag is bannable. (No worries, a small amount of lag is okay.)

- No Harassing. If someone beats you fair and square, don't message them or annoy them on Discord.

- The TO's decisions are final. If you disagree you can DM "UP | CON" and/or "Mulder" on Discord server.
