Aside from paying for the cost of venue rental, the venue fee goes towards supporting MASH, a UNC student organization, RecursionGG, and the NChi Circuit.

Venue Fee

Enter a 3 here if you're bringing a TV, and a 2 if not. A TV in use will waive $5 of your venue fee.

NOTE 1: If you bring a TV smaller than 13" diagonally across, we reserve the right not to compensate you for usage.


NOTE 2: We anticipate compensating for up to 24 TVs, but reserve the right to lower/raise this compensation cap without notice.

Enter a 3 here if you're bringing a console with a copy of Melee to the venue, and a 2 if not. If it has vanilla Melee (i.e. you're using a disc OR your ISO has no mods, TE included), then it's one we can use. A console in use will waive $5 of your venue fee provided you stay until 6:30 PM.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Super Smash Bros. Melee is the second installment in the Super Smash Bros. series and the follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title. It includes all playable characters from the first game, and also adds characters from franchises such as Fire Emblem, of which no games had been released outside Japan at the time. Super Smash Bros. Melee builds on the first game by adding new gameplay features and playable characters: it's major focus is the multiplayer mode, while still offering a number of single-player modes.
