Singles Rule Set
Double Elimination** Until you’ve lost 2 sets you are still in.
All matches are BO3 until top 8 then BO5.
Stage selection: (Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Town and City, Pokémon Stadium 2, Smashville,) Counter Picks: (Final Destination, Kalos, Hollow Bastion)
Game 1 stage selection shall start with a game of rock paper scissors (best of 3) The ban process shall proceed as follows with the stages listed. The winner bans 2 stages. The loser bans 2 stages. The winner bans 1 stage. The loser bans 1 stage. The winner then picks the stage out of the 2 remaining. After the first game has been played the stage selection shall occur as follows on the stages listed below. winner bans 3. loser picks
Format of The Singles Bracket and Matches:
If the timer hits 0 the person with the least number of stocks and or (if stocks are equal) the highest percentage loses. Changing Characters - The Winner announces character choice before stage selection. The Loser may switch during character select screen. Pausing should be turned off, but if it is not: Pausing the game will result in a game loss. Pausing and quitting before the end of a set will result in a set loss.
Prizing is: 1st 50% of entry pot / 2nd 30% of entry pot / 3rd 20% of entry pot
