Roles: Staff: HFT Staff are designated by orange name in our discord server. Use @staff to reach a Staff member Trailblazer Championship Crew: @tcs crew in discord. This role is for volunteer assistants on tournament days. Captains: Leader of a team of 4. Responsible for but not limited to registering, communications between teams and staff and submitting scores Competitors: Members of the team

Registration and brackets will be handled through start.gg.

Prizing and distribution will be determined on a tournament to tournament basis.

Tournament Format: Double elimination If greater than 8 teams, rounds until the semi finals will be Best of 3 series. Semi finals, finals, loser finals and grand finals will be Best of 5 Game restarts per HCS 2024 Handbook pg. 25.

Teams and Competitors: Each team shall consist of a minimum of 4 players, with an optional 2 substitutes, for a max of 6 total players.

Accounts must have a minimum of 100 games played.

Any combination of players can play in any matches. No players other than the players listed on the start.gg roster will be allowed to play.

Teams unable to produce 4 registered players within 15 minutes of match start will forfeit game 1. If they are unable to produce 4 players within 30 minutes of match start they will forfeit the series.

Gameplay settings: Per HCS year 3 including maps and modes

Code Of Conduct Cheating How to report: Use @tcs crew in the HaloFunTime discord to alert staff. Present offending gamertag and gameplay evidence to Trailblazers Championship Series Crew. Review 3-5 members of HFT Staff will review evidence and determine if the offending player did cheat

Punishment Offending player will be banned permanently from all future HFT competitions Teammates of the offending player will be suspended from one future HFT event. If teammates are found playing with a cheater in future events they will be permanently banned from HFT events.

Exploits Using known exploits are prohibited in HFT events. Refer to page 57-59 of HCS 2024 Handbook for exploits. Purposefully or unintentionally using known exploits will cause the offending team to forfeit the match subject to staff discretion.

No show 1st offense: warning and disqualification from tournament 2nd offense: banned from all future HFT events

Player Behaviour/Server Rules: HFT is an inclusive and welcoming community and will not tolerate personal attacks or use offensive language in addressing others. We have zero tolerance for harassment, witchhunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech.
