Mii Fighters: All Mii Fighter combinations are legal. However, players must declare their Mii's moveset before the start of the set and cannot change it for the duration of the set.
Set Procedure:
Matches: All sets prior to Top 8 are Best of 3. Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals are Best of 5.
Stage Striking (Game 1): Players use Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who strikes first. The winner strikes one stage from the Starter List. The loser then strikes two stages. The winner then chooses which of the remaining two stages to play on.
Counterpicking (Games 2+): After each game, the winner of the previous game bans two stages from the full Starter & Counterpick list. The loser then chooses a stage from the remaining legal stages to play the next game on.
Dave's Stupid Rule (DSR): A player may not counterpick to any stage they have previously won on during the set.
Character Lock: The winner of the previous game must announce their character choice first for the next game. The loser may then choose their character.
