Standard ladder rules, except for:

• No busting (you can go below 0 and riichi below 1000)
• No agariyame (all-last dealer in first cannot end the game)
• Split ties (tied players get the same uma)
• 5+10 turn timer 5 hanchan total score after uma Top 16 advance to finals day (double elimination)

Finals (November 10)

Double elimination, top 2 in each match advance, bottom 2 are relegated Ties broken by seed For grand finals, it's a 3-wind match (to West), players coming from winners start at 29000, from losers start at 21000
