### Match Rules:
* 1v1 Double Elimination
* Matches are played first to 2 wins (best of 3 games)
* Winners finals, Lower bracket finals, and Grand Finals matches are first to 3 wins (best of 5)
* Only the loser of a match can switch characters
* Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage)
* Pausing during a match is considered a round forfeit (make sure your buttons are set before the match starts)

### We will follow the Tekken World Tour (TWT) [Official Tournament Rules (Section 4)](https://www.bandainamcoent.com/legal/community-events/official-rules-twt2023).
* Double Elimination
* Match Rounds are set 3 out of 5 / 60 Seconds
* Matches are played first to 2 wins (best of 3 games)
* All top 8 matches are first to 3 wins (best of 5)
* Random stage select for Game 1
* Only the loser of a match can switch characters
* Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage)
* Players select their sides. Players may mutually agree on who sits on left and right side, corresponding to Player 1 and Player 2, respectively, at the start of a Match. Players are committed to this selection for the entirety of the Match. If Players cannot agree to a Side Selection, they will play a Best-of-Three Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who picks their side for the first Round. For all subsequent Rounds and Matches, the winner may select a side first.
* No Customized Character Costumes or customization items are allowed during match play
* Accidentally pausing the game at any time during a tournament game will force you to forfeit the round (and potentially the game). Make sure your buttons are set before the match starts.
* There is a maximum of 60 seconds allowed between games in a set.
* Hardware programmable input entry, rapid-fire, modifiers, macros, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are prohibited.
