Small Battlefield Ruleset
This is an experimental stagelist drafted by a group of trusted organizers.
Starter Stages
- Battlefield
- Final Destination
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Smashville
- Small Battlefield
Counterpick Stages
- Town & City
- Kalos Pokémon League
- Lylat Cruise (or Yoshi's Island Brawl)
- Yoshi's Story
Stage Selection Clauses
- Winner of the previous game will ban 3 stages
- Yoshi's Island (Brawl) and Lylat Cruise will act as the same ban for a stage. Players can choose one or the other to fight on.
- Players are not allowed to counter-pick to the most recent stage that they won on
Match Rules
Game 1
- First person/team bans 1 stage from starters
- Second person/team bans 2 stages
- First person/team bans 1 stage
- Game 1 is played on remaining starting stage
Game 2 and onward
- Winner of previous game will ban 3 stages
- Yoshi's Island (Brawl) and Lylat Cruise will act as the same ban for a stage. Players can choose one or the other to fight on
- Players are not allowed to pick the last stage they won on

Smash Ultimate Game Rules
- Stock: 3
- Time: 7 min (8 min in Doubles)
- Hazards: Off
- Team Attack: On
- Launch Ratio: 1.0x
- Underdog Boost: Off
- Miis: Any Moveset, but must remain with same set once chosen
How to stage strike/choose a stage:
At the start of the set, your opponent and yourself will strike stages from the Neutral/Starting stage list.
Stage Striking:
- Both participants/teams can agree to "gentleman", or immediately go, to a starter stage as long as it is a mutual decision
- If not, smash.gg chooses who bans a stage first
- Second person/team strikes x stages
- First person/team strikes x stages
- The remaining stage is the one where the first match will be played.
Counter-picking (after Game 1):
- The winning player/team strikes x stages from starters and counter picks
- The losing player/team chooses whichever stage they like from the remaining ones.
