##Smash Online Global Tournament Rules

 -Trolli Prizes are given directly by Logitech/Challonge Once you submit the reward form the prize will be provided via PayPal

-Depending how much is made off the tournament you may be required to fill out a W-2 form ($100 minimum)  
-SOG is not responsible if failed to fill out all neccicary forms for prize money
-If failed to comply with Region Lock (US/Canada) you will be refused prize earnings  
-Must be 13 years or older to compete for any monitary prize
-any player under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian give consent
-If failed to join the Challonge and smash.gg you will be removed (It is not our responsibility if you get removed)
-Best 2 out of 3 (Top 8-BO5)
 -Matches called to stream are optional till top 8.
  -Please report scores as soon as completed.
  - If a participant lags out or disconnects, they have one chance to resolve their internet connection (if need be) and rejoin the arena. If that participant fails to do so, they WILL be disqualified!
   -Any sort of cheating is unacceptable and will result in disqualification.
   -Trash talking is NOT allowed on stream or discord server.
	-Taunting is allowed.
   -If you forfeit your bracket, make sure you and your upcoming opponent inform an admin to prevent any tournament delays.
   -Players are allowed 5 Mins to be away after check in to avoid DQ (More depending situation)
	-Character/Stage counter-picking is allowed.
	-False reporting will result in a ban from future tournaments.
	-Gentelmens Rule allowed
	-Calling a lag test is on the participants not T.O's
	-LAN adapters are required if denied proof you will be DQ'd
	-LAN Adapter proof is to be provided on battle arena screen
	-Sable Detect will provide the most accurate reading (It don't Lie)
	-Flag readings over 6 are to be considered LAG (We cannot DQ on lower)
	-Notible Late Packets or Out of order packets in a short period of time may also result in a DQ
	-Input delay is not able to be read by sable and should not be called as a lag test and instead as a input issue (Best we can say most of the time is switch host)
   -If a player cannot connect to their opponent (CALL A T.O IMIDETLY to go over troubleshooting methods)
	-Harassment of any kind will be reported to smash.gg staff and will not be allowed back in Tournament
	-Contact Admin/Mod if you can not Check In to Avoid DQ (We are not responsble if DQ'd)
   -All players are given a SMALL grace period after check in. (If next set is already started you cannot reverse it)
   -Stalling of any kind will result in a DQ from the Bracket (T.O's dicresion)
   -Once a Set is agreed on you cannot go back on said set (Same for lag test)
   -Lag Test must be requested during a set not after (Must be requested within the first 2 mins and no stocks dropped on last game)
   -No Mid Set Coaching
   -DSR is in affect, Opponent can request to restart during the game. (Dave's Stupid Rule)
   -You can NOT Gententalmen to do a bigger set or smaller set.
   -If you are in the stream arena please leave after you have done your games (Unless Requested to Stay)
   -Matches on Stream cannot be deleted however you can request to not be featured in any highlights/videos
   -You may Stream your matches, But only your matches (unless permission given by T.O to stream others)
   -Amiibos Cannot Compete unless the Tournament is directed too
   - Any sort of modded equipment is strictly prohibited (Visual allowed)
   -Spectating Friends are not allowed to avoid lag. Tournament Streamers is the only exception to this rule
   -If Game Goes to Sudden Death the player with the most Stocks Wins. (If same stocks it will go to percentage)
	-Opponent can have a match not count toward the set if ruleset is incorrect. (Ruleset must be fixed)
   -Opponent cannot request for a tournament set to be reversed or replayed for incorrect rules after a set is finalised.
 -You can only reverse 1 game for a incorrect ruleset
 -No player can fill in for another unless in a (Doubles Format)
 -If a Lag Out happens 1 min in to a match, The Lagged out player will take a loss in the game. (Under 1 min gets a redo)
 -Tags that are considered Inappropriate For stream, will be given the in Game name as a tag or shorten name
  -Matches are considered a set game once a min has passed on the timer
  -Be Patient with Mods and Admins
  -If Online Maintenance Happens during a Tournament Sets left after Maintenance are to be played when servers return or the next day depending wait times (Streams May Close for the rest of the tourney)
 -Delays and Cancellations are posted on the Discord Server


Rules are Subject to Change after any tournament. Please bare in mind any Tournament Rule Changes are made to Help Improve the Tournament Experience, If you have Questions or Concerns with a rule please contact a Admin and we will get to you as soon as possible. Smash Online Global is not responsible to ensure you check in. If you miss check in time and bracket has begun we may choose not to add you.
